An historic property settlement far beyond our expectations

“We suffered a water loss due to frozen burst pipes that caused extensive damage to our home in Worcester, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Properties.

Built in 1853, it featured ornate original woodwork and floors throughout that were badly damaged. We were on winter break in Florida and knew we needed help to manage the large and complex claims process for a loss of our type.

After doing a lot of research and interviewing, we chose SPIA to work with our insurance company on our behalf. Lee worked tirelessly, arrangement for necessary mitigation to prevent further damage.

Our house was monitored daily in our absence. He coordinated a creative out-of-the-box solution to heat the affected areas with temporary baseboard heaters, and negotiated with the insurance company to pay for that. He provided updates and things progressed every day.

Lee met with woodwork experts and obtained detailed sub-bids to recreate the ornate woodwork and floors. He incorporated these bids his repair estimate.

Our insurance company sent out a Large Loss Adjuster from out of state, and Lee worked beautifully with him to secure us a settlement that was far beyond our expectations.

I have found Lee to be one of the most caring, empathetic, honest, trustworthy, and reliable people I have ever met who has handled a personal matter for me. I highly recommend Lee to anyone who has a property damage claim and needs a Public Adjuster. Thank you so much, Lee!”
