What to expect

When you work with Silverstein Public Insurance Adjusters (SPIA), we are with you through every step of the claims process. What are those steps?

Lee Silverstein visits your property, meets with you to inspect the loss, and reviews your insurance policy coverage

These first steps are at no cost to you. We are available 24/7 and come out for a site visit as soon as possible after your loss. In fact, ideally, SPIA should be the first call you make. We listen closely to you and answer your questions. Lee walks through your property and evaluates the damage to your building and its contents. Lee reviews your insurance policy and together, you assess if SPIA is a good fit to become your Public Adjuster. If so, we offer you an agreement to consider.

Upon agreement, we perform a detailed property inspection and in-depth insurance policy analysis

Lee and his team perform a detailed on-site inspection of the building and content damage. He also explores business interruption and extra expense insurance claims and additional living expense claims in the event you are displaced from your home or business. The aim is to make sure that your property damages are properly addressed so the loss payout can be maximized. With this attention, the endorsements and benefits of your policy can be fully utilized. That is essential!

The service fee for Public Adjusters is regulated by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. It is a small percentage of the final claim settlement. The Public Adjuster fee is offset by a higher settlement—often significantly higher— than you would have received had you handled your claim yourself. And Lee made it a lot easier too.
